Proper use of Flash with websites can add a new dimension to website presentation and improve the useability and user experience of any website. However, flash must be used wisely and implemented with caution, with respect to search engine optimization and website load time.

Flash components may be used on standard html pages without effecting search engine optimization provided that one realizes that much of the content will not be recognized... In-flash links will be spidered by Google, as an example, but no actual content will be recognized.
